Ai's a girl from Man-home who didn't exactly show up in Aqua with high expectations. Her older sister wouldn't shut up about how amazing the place was, so naturally Ai assumed it'd be a letdown—and honestly, at first it kind of was. Pretty boring, she thought.
That changed when she met Akari and her friends. Getting to know them shifted something in Ai's whole perspective on the region. What really sealed it was Akari's letters. Through those messages, Ai found herself falling in love with Aqua in a way she never thought possible. Now whenever she gets the chance, she makes the trip back to visit Akari and see what's new.
