Species: Jiang Shi (Chinese vampire-zombie)
She's a Jiang Shi—basically a hopping vampire that feeds on people's life force. The townspeople used to be pretty wary of her, which makes sense given what she is, but she's actually nothing like the scary reputation suggests. She's genuinely cheerful and hardworking, always looking out for people around her. It's one of those classic cases where everyone's got her pegged wrong based on what she is rather than who she actually is.
Rin's also noticeably short. Like, really short.
