Centiskorch is a flat, centipede-like Pokémon covered in red with circular orange-yellow heat-generating organs running along its underside. Its head features a distinctive exclamation point marking in orange, bright yellow eyes with red triangular pupils, and flames that shoot from both ends of its body like antennae. The dorsal side, legs, and mandible are darker red.
The Pokémon generates flammable gases by fermenting food in its body, then ignites them through those heat organs underneath, creating the characteristic flames that overflow from its head and rear. These flames can reach nearly 1,500 °F (800 °C). In the manga, it can actually turn off the flames on its head.
Centiskorch is aggressively territorial and will attack pretty much anything that gets too close. In battle, it rears up and uses its scorching body like a whip—either slamming its hot belly into opponents or constricting them. It has a predator-prey relationship with Scolipede depending on who wins their territorial disputes.
Gigantamax Form
When Gigantamaxed, Centiskorch bulks up significantly and gains a full hundred legs, which paradoxically lets it move incredibly fast despite the size increase. The underside turns yellow with light-yellow concentric circles in each segment, while small diamond shapes dot the upper body. Its flames grow larger with lighter centers forming an "X" shape, and three red clouds float above its rear end.
Its internal temperature pushes past 1,800 °F (1,000 °C) in this form. The heat radiating off it is intense enough to actually burn opponents and disrupt air currents enough to trigger storms. G-Max Centiferno is its signature move—something only this form can use.
Evolution
Centiskorch evolves from Sizzlipede.
