Miki's one of those seiyuu who basically never stops working. As of early 2007, he was sitting at third place for most prolific voice actors in the industry, with over 230 credits under his belt. He's best known for landing handsome young guy roles across anime, which kind of became his thing.

Beyond voice acting, he's a member of Weiss, a four-man band made up of the main cast from Weiss Kreuz (Miki alongside Takehito Koyasu, Tomokazu Seki, and Hiro Yuuki). He's also solidly active in the BLCD scene, where he's picked up serious recognition—he took home Best Supporting Actor at the 4th Seiyuu Awards.
