Synopsis

A sword with no memory of his name suddenly gains consciousness and realizes he's been reincarnated as a blade. Using telekinesis, he navigates his strange new world and gradually picks up various powers. One day in a monster-infested forest, he encounters a young girl named Fran running for her life. She grabs him and cuts down the beast threatening her with ease. After the fight, she introduces herself and decides to call the sword "Shishou," officially making him her weapon. Together they become adventurers, though Fran faces an uphill battle—she's a Black Cat Beastkin, a race that's earned itself a pretty terrible reputation. On top of that, no one from her tribe has ever successfully evolved into a stronger form. But Fran's determined to break that streak and fulfill her parents' dream. Shishou swears he'll stick with her until she makes it happen, and the two make for a surprisingly formidable duo.
