Synopsis

Agastia looks like your typical entertainment company, famous for running a theme park. But that's just the cover story—it's actually one of several shadowy organizations plotting world domination. The weird part? Despite the whole "evil corporation" thing, it's still a pretty decent place to work. The company's led by Akashic, and lately they've been making serious progress on their villainous agenda. Touka Kuroitsu works in Agastia's Monster Development Division as a researcher. She handles most of the fieldwork because her coworkers are kind of a mess. Her day-to-day involves sudden presentations, designing monsters to meet increasingly absurd specifications, and watching those monsters inevitably lose to whatever heroes show up to fight them. But Kuroitsu doesn't mind—she's determined to do solid work because she's got her eyes on that promotion.
