He's ranked among the world's wealthiest people and most influential figures, and he genuinely believes Bakugan represent humanity's future if handled correctly.
His motivation is pretty straightforward: stop his own sister Philomena, who runs AAAnimus Inc. and wants to exploit Bakugan for money and power. While she schemes for profit, Benton fights to make sure the creatures and their abilities remain open source—available to anyone, not just the rich and powerful. He owns a Hydranoid and recruits Dan and the Awesome Ones to help him track down Core Cells as part of his larger mission.
