Synopsis

Shouyou Hinata fell in love with volleyball after watching the "Little Giant" play, mesmerized by how dynamic the sport could be. His middle school tournament debut didn't go well, but he's determined to prove that height doesn't matter when you've got enough drive and grit. When he gets into Karasuno High School—the Little Giant's old school—Hinata thinks he's finally on his way to becoming a pro. The team isn't what it used to be, but that doesn't discourage him. At least, not until he finds out that Tobio Kageyama, the talented setter who destroyed Hinata's middle school team in their last match, is now on his team. To make his mark in a sport that usually favors tall, strong players, Hinata needs to figure out how to work with Kageyama instead of against him. He'll have to learn what it really means to be part of a team before he can seriously compete at the highest level.
