Aone is the backbone of Datekou's defense. He's got this intimidating, expressionless thing going on that makes him seem unapproachable, but anyone who actually knows him will tell you he's genuinely kind underneath all that. His main strength is his blocking power—maxed out at a 5—which makes him a nightmare for opposing aces. Futakuchi has noted that once Aone identifies an opponent's ace, he'll zero in on them, essentially locking onto them for the match. It's a simple strategy that works devastatingly well.
