Synopsis

Yumenosaki Academy is legendary for churning out top-tier boy idols, generation after generation. The student council runs a tight ship, using their power to keep traditions locked down. Then transfer student Anzu shows up—and she's the first and only girl in the entire school, specifically in the newly-created production course. She ends up working with four classmates from the idol unit Trickstar: Subaru Akehoshi, Hokuto Hidaka, Mao Isara, and Makoto Yuuki. The school hosts Dream Idol Festivals, basically battle-of-the-bands competitions where idol units go head-to-head and audiences vote on winners. Winning a DreFes comes with real perks and clout. But when the student council starts cracking down on unsanctioned festivals and punishing anyone who participates, Trickstar decides enough is enough. With Anzu as their producer, they decide to shake things up and challenge the system.
