Hokuto comes across as the serious, no-nonsense type—a perfectionist who thrives on routine and really doesn't appreciate disruptions. Most of his louder classmates probably find him a bit cold at first glance, but he actually cares about the people close to him. He's patient enough to walk someone through something if they're confused, though he's got a weirdly absent-minded side that catches people off guard.
His taste in everything leans old-fashioned and understated; he's partial to simple sweets. The Theater Club is where he spends his energy, though he's got his hands full trying to keep things organized and professional. His club president, Wataru Hibiki, is basically the opposite of him—eccentric and chaotic—and constantly throws Hokuto for a loop with whatever ridiculous idea he comes up with next. Still, Hokuto keeps pushing to actually get some solid club work done.
