Synopsis

After defeating Ichibei Hyousube of the Royal Guard, Yhwach pushes forward with his plan to kill the Soul King—the entity that holds the three worlds in balance: the Soul Society, Hueco Mundo, and the human realm. Uryuu Ishida, having overcome his own fight with the Royal Guard, joins Yhwach in his quest to reshape reality according to his vision. Ichigo springs into action, desperate to stop Yhwach and protect all three worlds from destruction. There's just one problem: his mixed heritage makes him vulnerable to Yhwach's manipulation. Back in the Soul Society, the newly appointed head captain Shunsui Kyouraku makes a risky move. He reaches out to a former enemy—someone whose power might be the key to turning the tide of war.
