An Ishvalan elder who leads a group of survivors, he's best known for repeatedly sheltering and caring for Scar whenever the latter showed up injured in Central. After mercenary attacks devastated their camp, he relocated his people further south to safer territory.
Interestingly, he never gets a name drop in either the anime or manga—fans just know him as the group's leader. The anime does identify him as Rick and Leo's grandfather in the episode "Marcoh's Notes," though the manga leaves this connection ambiguous.
