Aragaki Nagisa (荒垣 なぎさ) is a third-year at Kitakomachi and the former captain of the badminton club. She's known for being an incredibly dedicated player—the kind who's put in more work than basically anyone else on the team. That commitment paid off for a while, but then Hanesaki Ayano showed up and completely dismantled her in a match about a year back. Ayano's just that good, a natural prodigy, and the loss hit Nagisa hard. Ever since, she's been struggling with depression and keeps questioning why she even plays badminton anymore.
