She comes from a prestigious British witch family with a long magical lineage, which shows in her composed, no-nonsense attitude. Diana's initial disdain for Akko stems largely from Akko's obsession with Shiny Chariot—something Diana finds foolish—and the two clash frequently as a result. That said, Diana's grudging respect for Akko has grown over time, and she occasionally finds herself helping clean up whatever mess Akko's gotten into, even if she'd never admit it comes from anything but annoyance at the chaos itself.
