Snake is the leader of the Snake gang. When Joker brings Snake and Baron together to form an alliance against Kenshiro, they both publicly agree to the truce—but neither one is being straight with the other. Behind the scenes, each is plotting to turn Kenshiro to their side instead of actually working together.
It doesn't matter in the end. Kenshiro takes them both on separately and defeats them using a brutal technique that forces them into a fatal embrace, killing them both at once.
