Jerry moved to Los Angeles in late 1979 and has since worked across basically every corner of the performing arts. He graduated from Florida State University's School of Theatre in 1976 and spent years doing improv at the Comedy Store before branching into L.A. theater, TV, and film work. He's also directed modern theater productions and Shakespeare.
He founded and runs Ear Whacks!, a voice services and ADR company where he's voice cast roughly 40 feature films—including Dark City and Lost in Space—and provided voiceovers for over 60 more. Beyond that, he's served on the National Board of the Screen Actors Guild and various committees.
These days he coaches actors one-on-one in acting, improv, and voice-over work, and also teaches workshops through John D'Aquino's L.A. acting school.
