Narsus rescued her after Silver Mask slaughtered her entire group—including her father. In the OVA, she first shows up hell-bent on avenging her dad by taking Silver Mask down herself, but Narsus swoops in and makes a deal with the guy: he bets that she has what it takes to actually kill him. It's mostly a stalling tactic while they wait out an incoming sandstorm to make their getaway.
She's become fiercely devoted to Narsus, so much so that she casually calls herself his wife or mistress—a habit that visibly annoys Elam. The attachment runs deep.
