Daisuke shares the pretty typical public view that otaku culture is basically a blight on society—which, yeah, becomes a whole thing when he finds out his daughter Kirino's into it. They clash hard over it. He's known to baby Kirino way more than he does Kyousuke, which isn't exactly subtle.
