Fossa commands the 15th division of the Whitebeard Pirates. His name was first revealed in a Volume 58 SBS.
He's a big, heavily muscular guy with a weathered appearance—bald on top, sporting a thick mustache and a diagonal scar across his face. You'll usually spot him with a cigar in hand. The Whitebeard crew symbol is tattooed on his right bicep along with three small circles. He typically wears a sleeveless jacket and loose pants tucked into boots, and carries a katana with a square tsuba at his hip, though he's been known to sling it over his shoulder on a long strap as well.
