Also known as マムシの蛮蔵 (Mamushi no Banzou), or Banzou the Viper. He's best known as the originator of the Justaway explosive.
Banzou used to work for the government but was laid off during company restructuring. Bitter about it, he turned to terrorism and started a factory as a front operation. He recruited other displaced samurai who shared his hunger for revenge, and together they manufactured Justaway—which was actually a bomb, despite its innocent-sounding name. The factory also produced heavy weaponry on the side, including the Mamushi-Z laser cannon.
Yamazaki Sagaru was sent in as a spy during Episode 32 to figure out what Justaway really was and what Banzou was actually up to. The operation exposed the full scope of the factory's operations.
