Quinque: Kura
A first-class investigator for the CCG who hunts ghouls—officially called a Dove. He arrived in the 20th ward alongside his mentor Mado Kureo to deal with ghoul incidents in the area. Amon's driven by a strong sense of justice and genuinely believes exterminating ghouls is the right thing to do. More personally, he hunts to prevent other kids from experiencing what he did: losing their parents. He's known for working late into the night chasing leads.
Growing up as an orphan shaped how he sees the world. Amon became convinced something fundamental is broken about it, and he's made eliminating every last ghoul his personal mission to fix that. That conviction wavered after Ken Kaneki spared him during a confrontation—since then he's started questioning whether his whole crusade was justified.
He's developed a particular fixation on two ghouls in particular: Rabbit and Eyepatch. Both seem to occupy his thoughts more than your average target.
His weapon is a Quinque—a ghoul-derived pole-arm with a massive cylindrical head designed for blunt force. It's called Kura.
