Adonis is a quiet half-Japanese guy whose reserved nature tends to come across as intimidating or grumpy, even though he's genuinely not trying to be. He moved to Japan from abroad but speaks the language well enough. His dad is foreign, his mom is Japanese.
He's got a soft spot for small, cute animals—he just doesn't have the confidence to actually touch them, so he settles for watching from a distance. There's something endearing about how protective he gets over people he thinks are fragile; he's constantly pushing nutritious food or meat on the heroine because he's convinced she needs to bulk up. Whether she actually does is another question, but his heart's in the right place.
