Kishou Arima is the CCG's most legendary investigator, earning the nickname "the Reaper" for his perfect track record against ghouls. He's basically untouchable in combat—no one's ever beaten him as a Ghoul Investigator. Investigators like Koutarou Amon openly admire his skills, both as a fighter and as an investigator.
Early on, he worked alongside Take Hirako as partners. But Arima's really known for his later role overseeing the Quinx squad. He serves as a mentor figure to Sasaki Haise, the squad's rank 1 investigator and leader, and he eventually gives Sasaki his Yukimura 1/3 quinque to use. Together with Akira Mado, he keeps tabs on both Sasaki and the rest of the Quinx members, shaping the next generation of investigators.
