Yuuma comes across as collected and level-headed, with a real gift for Gunpla work—both the building and the battling sides of things. He's especially known for his sniping in combat. He and Fumina made a childhood promise to compete together at the World Tournament, but a crushing loss early on left him shaken. Rather than stick with battling, he stepped back entirely and switched to Artistic Gunpla instead, convinced the whole competitive scene wasn't worth his time.
Sekai, though, figured out what Yuuma wouldn't admit: deep down he still wanted to fight in Gunpla Battles. The promise to Fumina was still weighing on him.
