Miach was one of Tuan's closest friends from high school—the type of person who seemed to have everything figured out intellectually, even as she rejected pretty much everything about the world around her. She had that rare combo of being genuinely brilliant (top grades) while also being a total problem student, which made her stand out in ways most people couldn't ignore.
Her real strength was her ability to get inside people's heads. Calm, philosophical, and weirdly charismatic, she could talk anyone into almost anything without them realizing what was happening. During school, she kept a pretty tight circle—basically just Tuan and Cian—which probably made her influence over them even stronger.
She's the one who introduced them to the idea of suicide as some kind of ultimate statement against everything wrong with the world. It was her ideology, her way of framing it, that drove all three of them to attempt it. But unlike Tuan and Cian, Miach actually died in that attempt. She was the only one of the three who didn't survive.
