Whitey Bay, known as the Ice Witch, is a New World pirate captain and one of Whitebeard's many allies. She's best known for showing up at Marineford during the massive war to help rescue Ace alongside her captain and a bunch of other pirates.
She captains an icebreaker ship—basically built to push through frozen waters, which turned out to be pretty useful.
When word got out that Ace was about to be executed, Whitey Bay didn't hesitate. She and her crew teamed up with Whitebeard's forces and several other pirate crews to mount a rescue attempt. But things got rough fast: once they reached Marineford and the fighting started, Aokiji froze their entire fleet solid. Most pirates would've been stuck, but Whitey Bay had the advantage—her icebreaker ship could just smash right through it. Not only did she break free, but her crew ended up carving out another path through the Marine's defensive lines, giving Whitebeard and his allies another route forward to push deeper into the battlefield.
