Higuma joined Furinkan High School as a new teacher. The students initially pegged him as just another strict authority figure, but he surprised them by actually being genuinely kind and approachable. He made a point of encouraging his students to value and make the most of their youth while they had the chance. Eventually he moved on to help out at a different school.
