Koshimizu Nariyuki attends Oosugi High School and plays tennis for the school's club. He's got this ongoing rivalry thing with Eiichirou Maruo—they compete over basically everything, from grades to matches on the court. Problem is, Nariyuki consistently loses at both, which doesn't seem to stop him from keeping it up.
