Pollun is the Prince of the Garden of Light, sent to Earth when the Evil King's return becomes apparent. The Queen hints cryptly that his powers will play a role in helping Pretty Cure, and this turns out to be literal—Wisdom secretly embeds the Rainbow Stones' power into him without his knowledge, allowing him to stay in his regular form and communicate with Garden of Light members. When he needs to relay messages from home, he transforms into something like a tiny computer interface, letting everyone tune in and talk back openly.
He's the one who grants Pretty Cure the power of light that creates their Rainbow Bracelets. On the personality front, Pollun's a handful. He's self-centered, energetic to the point of being childish, and can get pretty irritating—especially to Mepple, who he tends to get on the nerves of. He lives with Nagisa during the original series and moves in with Hikari once Max Heart rolls around. He has a verbal tic of ending sentences with "popo."
