Nagisa and Honoka are complete opposites—one's athletic, the other's into books—and they barely know each other despite going to the same school. Then one night, a meteor shower delivers two tiny visitors: Mippuru and Meppuru, refugees fleeing from the Garden of Light after it fell to Darkness. These creatures give Nagisa and Honoka incredible powers they never asked for, transforming them into Cure Black and Cure White. Now the two unlikely girls have to work together as Pretty Cure, magical warriors defending the world from the encroaching darkness.
