Shougo Fujimura
Shougo Fujimura—known as Shawn Ferguson in the English dub—is a supporting character in Futari wa Pretty Cure. He's a student at Verone Academy who's best known for being the object of Nagisa's crush. Nagisa calls him "Fujipi" (or "Fergie" in English), though he doesn't always seem to catch on to how into him she actually is.
What complicates things is that he's also Honoka's childhood friend, which inevitably creates tension between the two girls. It's not like Shougo's doing it on purpose—he's just caught in the middle of a dynamic he doesn't fully realize is there. The friendship between Nagisa and Honoka gets strained more than once because of how close he and Honoka are, even though nothing romantic is happening on his end.
