Tristan is the prince of the Kingdom of Liones and son of Meliodas and Elizabeth Liones. As a half-Demon, half-Goddess hybrid, he can tap into power from both sides of his bloodline. His most striking feature is his heterochromia—a green eye inherited from his father and a blue one from his mother.
When Tristan turned 10, he met Lancelot (Ban and Elaine's kid) for the first time. Their fight got heated enough that Tristan ended up giving Lancelot the scar on his forehead—something fans still bring up.
By the time of Four Knights of the Apocalypse, Tristan has become one of the Knights himself, specifically representing Pestilence. He's stepped into his role as Liones's representative, which means he's had to polish up his speech and act more formally than he probably wants to. He dual-wields a pair of shortswords called Mael and Estarossa, named after his uncles as a tribute to them. Thanks to his Goddess heritage, he can sprout wings in combat, and he's been training to master his father's signature ability, Full Counter.
He's got his own protective detail too—a dedicated platoon of Holy Knights consisting of Chion, Isolde, and Jade, all tasked with keeping him safe.
