Lawless is the Servamp of Greed—and he's basically what happens when you give a vampire a Shakespeare obsession and absolutely zero emotional stability. He's got the tactical chops and combat ability to back up his rank, but good luck getting him to cooperate with anyone. His mental state is. well, rough. The guy's a mess.
He's best known for his habit of killing his Eves when they stop entertaining him, which sounds terrible until you realize it's mostly just a defense mechanism. Lawless desperately wants someone to actually love him, and cycling through partners is just his messed-up way of avoiding that longing. It's sad when you think about it.
Day-to-day, he's exhausting—loud, self-centered, and constantly making jokes at everyone else's expense. He introduces people like he's performing at the Globe Theatre. That said, there's something oddly likable about him underneath all the obnoxiousness. He's got genuine energy and charm when he's not being a complete nightmare.
Like other Servamps, Lawless can shift between human and animal form, turning into a small black hedgehog with three white spikes when sunlight hits him. Unlike most animals, he can still talk as a hedgehog, which is exactly the kind of detail that somehow tracks for his character.
