Position: Middle BlockerMiddle blocker for Aoba Josai's volleyball team. He and Kageyama go way back—they were teammates at Kitagawa Daiichi—and Kindaichi was never shy about his frustration with Kageyama's self-centered playing style. He couldn't understand where Kageyama's head was at back then.
Kindaichi's the competitive type, maybe a little stubborn. It took time for him to even acknowledge that Kageyama had actually changed, and even when he did, he wasn't about to accept any apology. He's made peace with staying enemies instead. What's more obvious is his respect for the older players on his current team, especially Oikawa. The guy gets noticeably flustered when complimented—he once got so stiff and awkward thanking Oikawa for a compliment that he could barely move his arms.
