Mars is best known as one of Galactic's top commanders, first showing up in the series when she and Saturn tried to swipe the Lustrous Orb from the Celestic Town museum. She made an immediate impression as someone willing to get her hands dirty—which became her trademark throughout the arc.
Her role in the organization kept expanding. She reported directly to Cyrus about the Red Chain project's progress, making her one of his more trusted operatives. When it came time to find the Spear Pillar, Mars was the one sent to Iron Island with the Spear Key. She activated the island's ruins, hoping to pinpoint the exact location of the pillar in Mt. Coronet. The mission fell apart when Riley and his Lucario showed up and stopped her from destroying the island on Cyrus's orders—a rare failure that probably stung.
Mars traveled with her Purugly and remained a consistent presence through the final arc. When Cyrus disappeared, she genuinely fell apart. She tried to follow him, but Saturn kept her in check. In the end, she and the other commanders—Jupiter and Saturn—all got arrested together.
She's the kind of character fans remember as competent but ultimately trapped in a sinking ship, more loyal to Cyrus than the organization itself.
