Banri Watanabe
After a nearly fatal accident right after high school, Banri lost all his memories from before that point. He spent a year in recovery before finally enrolling in law school.
Throughout the series, Banri develops sympathy for Kouko, recognizing that her beauty and wealth actually isolate her—people are too intimidated to get close to her. Before the accident erased his past, Banri's consciousness appears as a ghostly presence, watching over his amnesiac self like a lingering echo of who he used to be.
