Mashiro Kuna served as lieutenant of the 9th Division under Kensei before leaving the Gotei 13. She's best known for being kind of a space case—the type to get genuinely upset over what most people would consider trivial stuff. She threw a fit when Orihime and Hachi became friends, and later when Kensei wanted to fight alongside his own squad instead of staying in command.
Her whole aesthetic is basically lifted straight from 1970s Japanese tokusatsu shows, which she leans into hard with her clothing and attitude. Fans often note her hollow mask has this weird insectoid quality to it that fits the superhero theme weirdly well. She's also known for calling Ichigo "Berry-tan"—a nickname playing off his name that stuck with fans.
What actually made Mashiro stand out among the Visoreds was how naturally her hollow powers came to her. On her first attempt to control her mask, she managed to keep it active for fifteen straight hours, which meant she basically skipped all the intensive training the other Visoreds (and Ichigo) had to grind through. Natural talent, apparently.
