Yuu Mizuno is an outgoing, genuinely likeable guy who's completely unapologetic about being into My Melody. He got into the character pretty organically—he was looking after his younger sister while their parents worked, and he started borrowing her cute accessories just because they were handy. It stuck with him. His classmates find it endearing, honestly. The girls especially seem drawn to both his willingness to embrace something cute without any self-consciousness and the fact that he's clearly devoted to his sister. He has weak eyesight and you'll catch him putting in contact lenses during the anime's opening credits.
