Pesche is a harmless humanoid hollow with an insectoid mask featuring prominent mandibles, an eyepatch, and a loincloth. His hollow hole sits lower than typical—near his stomach rather than his chest. He and Dondo were once Nel Tu's Fracción until Nnoitra tore their masks off and left them for dead alongside her. When they realized Nel had reverted to a helpless child, both pledged to keep her in the dark about her past and dedicated themselves to protecting her. They've spent years wandering Hueco Mundo together ever since.
Pesche accidentally tags along when Uryū enters Las Noches, having confused him for Ichigo. The mix-up frustrates Pesche initially, since he assumes Uryū is the group's weakest member based purely on looks, while convinced that Chad is the strongest.
His signature ability, "Infinite Slick," involves spraying saliva that drastically cuts friction on whatever it coats. Despite sounding gimmicky, it's surprisingly effective—he's managed to neutralize Cirucci's weapon and can leave opponents struggling for footing or grip. The name's a bit of a joke; Pesche admits he called it that because "Finite Slick" didn't sound cool enough. He can also perform a synchronized cero with Dondo. He carries an energy sword named Ultima that he claims rivals Uryū's Seele Schneiders, which he draws from his loincloth in a way that's probably funnier than it's meant to be.
