Fisher Tiger, the Adventurer, founded the Sunny Pirates and remains one of the series' most pivotal figures despite his death before the main story begins. He's best known for scaling the Red Line's cliffs with nothing but his bare hands and launching a raid on Mariejois itself—the holy land of the Tenryubito. His goal was straightforward: free the enslaved Fishmen held there.
What sets Tiger apart is that he didn't stop at just rescuing his own people. He freed slaves of every race he found, including a young Boa Hancock and her sisters. Despite his hatred of humans, he refused to discriminate when it came to slavery—a contradiction that defined him.
After the raid, Tiger took the freed Fishmen and transformed their slave brand, the hoof mark, into a symbol of the sun. He then founded the Sunny Pirates with them as his crew. The group eventually passed into Jinbei's hands after Tiger's death, though the details of how he died remain unclear.
