Remiel is a former Cobra Unit member driven by a burning need for revenge against Hao. A decade before the Shaman Fight, Hao scarred his face badly using the Spirit of Fire—something Remiel covers with a mask ever since. He doesn't make it far in the manga, getting killed not long after Mina does.
His actual host is Cebin, who keeps Remiel housed in specially designed guns shaped like human forearms. The name itself is a mashup of Cabin cigarettes and Gregor Mendel, the genetics guy. When he's not plotting vengeance, Remiel apparently enjoys singing with a chorus, and he's partial to Sachertorte.
