Bogard is a Marine officer who serves as Vice Admiral Garp's right-hand man at Marine Headquarters. He's best known for training Koby and Helmeppo, showing serious skill with a sword—he could slice apart Koby's guns without actually hurting the guy, and later sparred with both recruits using just one hand to keep things challenging.
He's skilled enough that fans often note his swordsmanship as genuinely impressive for a supporting character. Most recently, he was spotted alongside Garp on God Valley.
