Medazeppi is one of Szayel Aporro Granz's Fracción—notably the largest among them. He's got a distinctive clown-like blue hairdo and a hollow mask that covers his right eye and nose. He can't actually speak; instead he just makes noises to communicate what he's thinking.
The guy's got a seriously low pain tolerance. A shallow cut from Renji Abarai was enough to make him scream and grip his hand in agony, and he'd literally flip onto his back kicking his legs in the air over minor injuries.
When Szayel Aporro got bored fighting Renji, he sent Medazeppi and the rest of his Fracción after him. After Renji ended up trapped under rubble, Medazeppi was about to finish him off with a punch when Uryū Ishida's arrow pierced straight through his midsection, killing him before he could land the blow.
