Animal form: CatKuro is a servamp—basically a vampire servant—bound by contract to Shirota Mahiru. He's the eldest of seven vampire brothers, though you wouldn't guess it from how he acts. He spends most of his time sleeping, which tracks perfectly with being the Servamp of Sloth. During the day, he just transforms into a regular cat, which honestly seems like the ideal lifestyle if you ask him.
What makes Kuro genuinely interesting is how little anyone actually knows about him. He's deliberately vague about his own past, keeping details locked away. But there's clearly something heavy in his history—specifically, some kind of serious conflict with Lawless, the Servamp of Greed, who still holds a major grudge against him over it.
Beyond his laziness, Kuro's got an unusually high soothing presence, almost unnaturally so. His cooperative streak, though? Pretty much nonexistent. He's not exactly built for teamwork, and his mental fortitude isn't great either. But he's decent-looking, which probably helps him get away with his attitude more often than it should.
