Maya Kitajima's Mother
Maya's mom, Haru, works at a Chinese restaurant in Yokohama. She's not exactly supportive of her daughter's dreams—she's convinced Maya's hopeless and has no shot at making it as an actress. When Maya bolts to join Tsukikage's school, Haru shows up trying to drag her back home, but Maya refuses to go. While it looks like Haru's given up on her daughter for good, she never really stops thinking about her.
