Mirai is a thirteen-year-old about to start junior high—the type of kid who's equal parts quirky, hilarious, and genuinely likable. She bounces between interests and doesn't take herself too seriously, which gives her this infectious energy. Her stuffed bear Mofurun means the world to her; her grandmother Kanako gave it to her, and it's basically her emotional anchor. She's pretty open about looking up to Riko, and her real driving force is wanting to study magic while somehow earning Riko's respect in the process.
When things call for it, Mirai transforms into Cure Miracle, the legendary Pretty Cure. It's her alter ego and where her real power comes from.
