He's best known for his distinctive appearance—fans often note his resemblance to actor Wilford Brimley, and Naoki Urasawa actually borrowed his look for the character Pluto. There's also something of Shunsaku Ban from Astro Boy in his features. He first appeared in Chapter 49.
