Elise is Anne Littstein's younger sister and serves as Mia Luna Tearmoon's Court Artist.
She spent most of her childhood bedridden and sickly, which left her plenty of time to write. Her most famous work is "The Poor Prince and the Golden Dragon"—a story Anne once told to Mia while she was imprisoned awaiting execution in the original timeline. Elise never got to finish it before she died from plague and famine, but the incomplete tale stuck with Mia.
In the current timeline, things are different. Mia offered Elise the position of Court Artist, and though Elise initially assumed it was just nepotism, Mia proved otherwise by reciting the unfinished parts of her story—knowledge she shouldn't have had. That clinched it. Better health has also come with Anne's steady wages as Mia's maid, giving Elise the stability to actually pursue her writing.
Beyond "The Poor Prince," Elise has written a couple other pieces: "The Princess Chronicles of Saint Mia," which is wildly embellished and mostly fictional, and "Guillotine Princess," which is weirdly accurate to events from the original timeline. Anne loves that last one so much she's given it a nickname: Guillopuri.
