The two got separated during a trip, which sent Nio on her own journey to Corseit—specifically to check out The Unexplored Ruin. These days she makes her living as a travelling apothecary, picking up work where she can: selling medicine to locals, lending a hand in shops, that sort of thing. It's not glamorous, but it keeps her moving and searching.
